How to create a segment-triggered flow?

This trigger takes a snapshot of the records in a segment and enrols them into the Flow. You can use this trigger if you have a segment of customers and want to run an automation flow specifically for that segment. 

Steps to configure this trigger:

1. Click on “Flows” in the left navigation bar -> Create a new flow -> After providing the base object and name details, you will land in the Flow canvas.

2. In the trigger block, click on “Add Trigger.”

3. Click on the trigger “When added to a segment.”

4. Choose the segment from which you want to enrol the records to the Flow:

Key things to remember:

• Segment trigger will only enrol the current set of records into the flow and execute it

• Any new record that becomes a part of the segment in the future will not be enrolled.
