How to create and send a WhatsApp Campaign?

Pre-requisites:

  • WhatsApp Business Account integrated with ZEPIC (Click here to integrate)
  • At least one approved WhatsApp Template (Click here to create a template)


Follow the below steps to create and send a WhatsApp campaign in ZEPIC:

  1. Click the Campaigns button on the left navigation bar and select the “WhatsApp Campaigns” tab.


  1. Click on the button “Create WhatsApp Campaign.”

  1. You can enter the name of the WhatsApp campaign and choose its type. You must also select the WhatsApp Business Account from which the campaign is sent. The templates available in a campaign are dependent on the WhatsApp Business Account chosen. Check out this guide to learn more about configuring a WhatsApp Business account.


  1. You will also need to choose the “Base Object”. You need to select an object to use the fields from this object (or a custom object) to personalize the WhatsApp campaign content.


Designing a WhatsApp campaign:

  1. Choose one of the WhatsApp templates approved in the dropdown list.

Final touches before sending a WhatsApp campaign:


Here are a few things you must do before sending the campaign.

  1. Sender WhatsApp number: Once you have completed the prerequisites, you need to fill in the name of the WhatsApp sender and configure the sender's name and WhatsApp address. You can also configure the reply-to WhatsApp address to which your WhatsApp recipients can reply by unchecking the checkbox.

  2. Recipient Details: You will choose the recipient segment for this WhatsApp campaign. A list of the segments will appear based on the base object selected during the campaign creation. You can send a campaign to up to five segments.
