Updated November 17, 2025 . 1 minute read

Introduction

Conversation starters are quick suggestion buttons that appear when someone opens your Instagram DM. They help guide customers to relevant information such as your shop or website.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Navigate to Instagram Settings

  • Log in to your ZEPIC dashboard.

  • From the left hand menu, select Settings → Instagram Business Account. You will see a list of your connected Instagram accounts. Click the account you want to configure

Step 2: Open Conversation Starters

  • Inside the Instagram account settings, choose the Conversation starters tab. This tab shows a preview of how the suggestions will appear to customers and allows you to manage languages and messages.

Step 3: Add English Conversation Starters

  • Under Languages, ensure English (US) is selected.

  • Click Add Message. In the “Add New Message” dialog, type Shop and click Add.

  • Click Add Message again and type Website, then click Add.

  • You’ll see the messages listed with a preview on the right showing buttons labeled Shop and Website.

Step 4: Add Arabic Conversation Starters

  • Under Languages, click Add Language and pick Arabic.

  • With Arabic selected, click Add Message and enter متجر (Shop in Arabic), then click Add.

  • Click Add Message again, enter موقع (Website in Arabic), and click Add.

  • The preview will update showing the Arabic buttons.

Step 5: Add Spanish Conversation Starters

  • From Add Language, select Spanish (Spain).

  • With Spanish selected, click Add Message and enter Tienda (Shop in Spanish), then click Add.

  • Add another message Sitio web (Website in Spanish) and click Add.

  • The preview shows the Spanish buttons.

Step 6: Verify and Save

  • You should now see three languages (English, Arabic, and Spanish) listed, each with two messages. The right‑hand phone preview reflects the language currently selected in the panel

Tips

  • You can set a maximum of 4 conversation starter messages per language.

  • Use clear, concise phrases for your buttons (e.g., “Shop,” “Website”) so customers immediately know what they do.

  • To edit or delete a message later, use the pencil (edit) or trash (delete) icons next to the message.
