How can I migrate my existing WhatsApp Account to ZEPIC?

If you are currently using the WhatsApp Business API (WABA) with another provider (a different Business Solution Provider or "BSP"), you can seamlessly migrate your existing number to ZEPIC.

This process, known as Number Porting, allows you to retain your display name, quality rating, and Official Business Account (Blue Tick) status.

A user with the Admin role in ZEPIC and the associated Meta Business Manager must perform the migration.

Step-by-Step WhatsApp Account Migration Guide

The process involves initiating the port in ZEPIC and confirming the migration within the Meta Business Manager.

  1. Start in ZEPIC: Navigate to Settings > WhatsApp > WhatsApp Business Accounts in your ZEPIC settings.

  1. Initiate Porting: Click the 'Add WhatsApp Number' button and follow the secure Meta login prompt.

  2. Accept Permissions: Log in to Meta with your Admin credentials and grant ZEPIC the necessary permissions.

  3. Select Existing WABA: During the setup flow, instead of creating a new WhatsApp Business Account (WABA), select the existing WABA associated with the number you wish to migrate.

  4. Select Phone Number: Choose the specific phone number you want to port to ZEPIC from the list of registered numbers.


  1. Verification Code: Meta will prompt you to verify ownership of the number. Select your preferred method (SMS or Voice Call) and enter the code received.

  2. Final Confirmation: Once the number is successfully verified, Meta automatically begins the porting process from your old BSP to ZEPIC.

Finalizing the Next Steps in ZEPIC

Once the process is complete, the number is immediately active in ZEPIC, and your previous BSP loses access.

Post-Migration Actions

  • Confirm Status: The number will show as Active in your ZEPIC WhatsApp Sender settings.

  • Update Old BSP: We recommend contacting your previous BSP to formally notify them of the migration and cancel any future subscription or billing charges for that WABA number.

  • Review Templates: Ensure all your existing approved Message Templates (HSMs) are visible and functional within ZEPIC.

The entire porting process is typically completed within minutes after you successfully enter the verification code.
