Triggers are events or conditions that start the automation of the flow. Different types of triggers include segment, event, and object property changes.
Trigger Filters: The event trigger and object property change trigger can be filtered and configured at a granular level. For example, if the “Added_To_Cart” event is the trigger, the filter can trigger the flow only if the cart_value is more significant than $200.
Actions: Any email, WhatsApp message, update on the records, delay, or conditional check is called an action.
Base Object: An object whose properties and associations are used in the flow automation. The trigger, as well as the actions
Enrolment: A record getting onboarded or entering into the flow based on the trigger condition is called enrolment.
Re-enrolment: If the same record is getting onboarded into the flow because the trigger condition is met again, it is referred to as re-enrolment
Conditions: A category of action blocks evaluates a condition and decides the course of the flow. Checking whether a record is part of a segment or whether any filter condition is met is an example of a condition.
Delays are another action block category that waits or pauses the automation flow. Different delay blocks pause the automation flow differently - either for a fixed time interval or based on the data property in an object or a custom event.
Goals: Any event specified in flow automation indicates that the enrolled record has completed the goal.
Exit: When the record goes through a flow and reaches the final destination or meets a goal, it is exited out of the flow. If enrol is onboarding into the flow automation, exit is offboarding from the flow automation.
