ZEPIC's User Roles and Permissions allow your marketers to focus on marketing and your support team to focus on customers, not worrying about critical settings.
By assigning the correct role, you make sure every team member has exactly what they need to succeed - nothing more, nothing less. Aside from this, you also make sure there is security in customer information and sensitive data.
1. Owner
In ZEPIC, the Owner is the Ultimate Controller of the ZEPIC account. The primary account holder or a key executive typically holds this role. The Owner has unrestricted access to manage the entire platform, including its security and financial lifeblood.
- Owners have unrestricted access to all features and settings within the account.
- They possess full control over billing, subscription settings, configurations, and all security features.
- They are the only role that can add, remove, and manage all users, including other Admins.
2. Admin
Admins are Operational Commanders in ZEPIC. This role is designed for a highly trusted team member who requires complete control to maintain the stability and smooth operation of your ZEPIC account.
- Admins have near-total control over the platform's daily operational functions.
- They manage all marketing tools, data, and connector configurations.
- Admins also handle all security needs, including API tokens and user invitations.
3. Manager
In ZEPIC’s Roles and Permissions, Managers are your Campaign Strategist and Executor. This role is perfect for your marketing leads whose core mission is to drive results. They have the authority needed to manage and execute your entire strategy.
- Managers have full authority over launching campaigns and setting up automation flows.
- They are the key users for managing all customer data (creating segments, importing lists).
- Managers are intentionally restricted from sensitive financial or security areas (Billing and user management) to keep their focus strictly on performance
4. Author
In ZEPIC, the Author is a role for your Creative Specialist. Their job is to craft beautiful and effective content. This role is ideal for content marketers or designers who focus on the creative side of your campaigns.
- Their primary tasks are content creation (designing templates and crafting messages).
- They can create and save campaign content and build automation workflows.
- Authors cannot send or launch any messages, ensuring all content gets Manager review before going live.
5. Support
The Support role is your customer frontline. In ZEPIC’s roles and permissions, their access is designed for customer service agents who need to communicate with clients one-to-one and keep records up to date.
- Support roles have full access to Engagement Tools like the Team Inbox for managing customer conversations.
- They are responsible for updating contact records and viewing customer profiles (Edit Standard/Custom Object Access).
- This role is denied access to all marketing, financial, and core security features.
6. Analyst
The Analyst is a role for your performance observer. In ZEPIC, this is the ultimate read-only role, perfect for stakeholders who need to monitor success and measure ROI without the ability to interact with the campaign tools.
- Analysts focus solely on measurement and monitoring performance.
- They have view-only access to reports, dashboards, and segment definitions.
- This role cannot make any changes, import data, or send any messages, protecting data and campaign integrity.
