How to capture visitors/customers from your website?

The first step in your ZEPIC journey is to get our WebSDK integrated into your website. This integration lets you capture valuable data from your visitors and potential customers. With WebSDK in place, you can easily track user interactions, behavior patterns, and engagement metrics right from your ZEPIC account. It's the perfect way to start building a comprehensive customer data management system.

Here are a few more things you should know before diving into the integration:

  • Ease of use: ZEPIC offers a single line of JavaScript code for easy integration into your website.

  • Small footprint: The JavaScript code is lightweight—it's as small as 20KB—so it won't slow down your page load times.

  • CDN hosting: Hosted on Amazon CDN servers, the script delivers faster performance and reliable content delivery across geographical locations.

  • Asynchronous execution: Works in asynchronous mode; the script doesn't block page rendering, contributing to a smoother user experience.

  • Framework compatibility: The ZEPIC WebSDK integrates with JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, Angular, and Next.js.

  • Google Tag Manager support: ZEPIC is compatible with Google Tag Manager, simplifying tracking script deployment and management.

Follow the below steps to integrate ZEPIC’s Web SDK into your site:

  1. On the left nav bar, click on the Connectors icon.

Alternatively, you can also navigate to Connectors from the Settings page.

  1. Click on the Create Source button.

  1. Under Sources, navigate to General and click on the Connect button displayed on the SDK icon.

  2. Provide a name for the Connection that you’re about to set up.

  3. Input your website’s URL.

  4. Next, add information about where you’d like to use this data, and click on Connect.

  5. ZEPIC’s SDK comes with three key components by default. First, the JavaScript SDK tracks all activities of visitors on your site.

  6. Next, the Identify code helps capture visitors' email addresses, allowing you to link their anonymous site activity to their profile once they share their information. This helps you gain a comprehensive 360-degree view of your customers.

  7.  Lastly, the events tracking code lets you specify and track custom events like content downloads and form submissions.

  8. These codes need to be added to the <head> tag of the web pages you want to integrate.

  9. Click on Settings to continue

  10. Enter your website URL again

and click on Save
